Tourist Attractions

  • Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary is a beautiful rainforest that is home to about 75 chimpanzees. It is north of Banana Island, south west of Port Loko, and east of the Atlantic Ocean 

  • River Number 2 Beach is a nice beach with white sand and red hibiscus flowers, and is off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. It is north of Cockle Point Resort, south of Peninsula Highway, west of the Western Area National Park, and east of the Atlantic Ocean

  • The Cotton Tree is a huge green tree in Freetown (the capital city of Sierra Leone) and is said to have existed when the first settlers arrived in 1787. It is north of Kent (a city in Sierra Leone), south of Bruce Island, noth west of Bo (a city in Sierra Leone), and east of the Atlantic Ocean

  • The Lakka Beach is a beach with food and fresh star-fruit and coconuts, and is off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. It is southeast of the Lakka Beach Island Resort, west of the Peninsula Highway, and north of Hamilton Beach

  • Outamba-Kili National Park is a park with wildlife such as hippos, bongo antelopes, buffalo, elephants, chimpanzees, colobus monkeys and sooty mangabeys ( monkey-like animals), and 260 bird species, and has hills, grasslands, plains, and rivers. It is east of of Dubaia (a city in Sierra Leone), northwest of Maputi (a city in Sierra Leone), and south of the boarder between Sierra Leone and Guinea
